Alan Sherwood

Passion for Support, Registered Manager

Alan Sherwood is a Social Care Practitioner who has gained extensive experience in a variety of Health, Social Care & Voluntary sector settings at both practical and strategic levels throughout his career.

Alan holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Health & Social Care, Registered Managers Award (RMA) he is also a Certified Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Alan specialises in developing new and innovative services and packages of support for adults including: learning disabilities, physical disabilities, older people’s services, dementia, sensory impairments and HIV/AIDS.

Alan has a special interest in neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s and is a member of the management committee of the Halifax Branch of Parkinson’s UK.
