About us
We’re a Greetland based domiciliary (home) care company established in 2009. We work with adults in their own homes throughout Calderdale to enable them to maximise their independence and support them to live independently.
About our customers
When they need it, many people prefer to receive care in their own homes for as long as they possibly can. Passion for Support ensures that customers are safe and cared for in the comfort of their homes, surrounded by the people and things they know and love, and able to continue to be a part of their community.
Our customer visits are normally a minimum of 1 hour; we don’t feel we can any value to our customers’ lives if visits are shorter than that. We follow instructions from the customer as detailed in their Personal Support Plan that lists the things they want to achieve.
Tasks we undertake with our customers include…
- Shopping
- Light domestic duties i.e. laundry, cleaning etc
- Supporting them to take medication
- Managing their personal affairs/paperwork
- Taking customers to, and supporting them at, social activities, outings, events, functions
- Preparing meals
- Personal care.
Prior to working with a new customer, we assess their needs and requirements. We then carefully select the carers who will visit the customer to ensure they’re a good match and will get on well with one another. Prior to the first care visit taking place, we’ll visit the customer to introduce the carers that will be looking after them.
If our jobs are a good match for you, please complete our short initial recruitment form (opens new window) and we’ll be in touch.
